Question: Hi Allison. First of all well done on your new site. It is Great!! You're such a wonderful gymnast. I was watching your videos and remained amazed by your flexible body. What is it like to get stretched to the maximum? Is it painful? If yes how do you cope with the pain you feel? Is it unbearable? Keep it up::))
Answer: Thanks, the compliment should really go to my webmaster Meghan ;) Yes it is painful at times, but after your muscles are flexible it doesn't really hurt anymore. How I cope is to just think about how when I'm done I will be flexible and it will help me in the long run!

Question: Hi Allison! you've got a lot of muscles, especially your arms are very strong, my questions are: do you want to become more muscular and can you do 50 push-ups in a row?
Answer: Thanks, I just want to be more muscular in my legs, and yes I can do 50 push-ups in a row!

Question: How much do you have to condition in a day and how many routines do you have to do on each event?
Answer: I condition about an hour maybe a day maybe a little bit more. and during the competition season I do either 3 or 5 beam routines, 3 bar routines, either or 2 floor routines and I dunno how many vaults!

Question: Is there any way I could get your autograph?

Question: Dear Allison, why are the elites separated at WOGA and between different coaches? Are all of the elites ever together? Is Devin Ave still an elite because I didn't see her listed? Thanx! By the way, I started gymnastics becuz I went to your website and thought it was cool I'm a level 7 working 8 now.
Answer: The elites are separated between 2 coaches, Valeri and Evgeny. We are all together sometimes. Devin, is no longer an elite but is working to test again. I'm so happy you started gym because of me hehe. Good luck!

Question: Which school do you go to?
Answer: Spring Creek Academy

Question: What other things do you like to do besides gymnastics?
Answer: shopping, swimming, hanging out with my friends, going to the movies, and getting online.

Question: I came across your site and was wondering do you like WOGA a lot better than DGC? And do you miss a lot of your old team mates from there? (the ones that haven't come over to WOGA)
Answer: I like woga better, and I do miss some of my teammates from DGC but I see them occasionally.

Question: Dear Allison, I read that the gymnast of WOGA run track. I was wondering, how many laps you run? And What are the specific track exercises?
Answer: Yes, we do run track. Umm on Monday and Thursday we run 5 laps, and do single leg hops, strides, and sprints. And on Saturday we run eight laps!

Question: What's the difference between training with Valeri or Evgeny? How much conditioning do you do every day? thanks Allison!
Answer: There's almost no difference in Valeri or Evgeny, except that they might have different techniques or something. I like training with Valeri though! It depends on how much conditioning we do, it varies from day to day.

Question: How long does it take to learn (and perfect) a big skill like an arabian and how do you prepare yourself (mentally) to do it?
Answer: It depends on the skill on how long it takes. For some skills it takes a long time, and others it doesn't. I just prepare my self by trying to think of all my corrections my coaches give me.

Question: What is your work-out schedule? Don't you miss having school friends and having a social life?
Answer: LOL see above!

Question: Is it hard to be in Tops? Is it fun?
Answer: Ya, it's pretty hard to be in TOPs with all the conditioning and everything, but it's worth it if you make the team because you get to work with the national coaching staff. It is also so fun!!! Especially when you make the team the camps are so fun!

Question: What was your most embarrassing moment in the gym? And do you have any really funny stories from the gym?
Answer: My most embarrassing moment would have to be at my level 8 State meet. I was going to win the meet, and then I tripped and fell right on my face going for my first tumbling pass on floor. It was so embarrassing!! I have a TON of funny stories from gym, I have lots of fun with my friends at the gym, there are too many stories to tell!

Question: Why did you leave Dallas Gymnastics to come to WOGA?
Answer: Umm...It's a very long complicated story, that I would rather not say! Sorry! But thanks for the question!

Question: Do you miss the elites that have left, like Diane and Megan Browning? Do you ever talk to them any more?
Answer: Ya I miss my friends that have left, but I still talk to them online.

Question: What is your work-out schedule? Don't you miss having school friends and having a social life?
Answer: Here is my workout Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8-12, and then 5-8 Friday and Saturday 8-12 I dont miss having school friends, and I definitely DO HAVE a social life hehe. My teammates and I always go to the mall or the movies and we have parties a lot so I have a social life it's just with my gym friends and not my school ones! Thanks for the question

Question: What is it like becoming an international elite after all the success the other elite have had?
Answer: It is great becoming an international elite!! I don't really think about the success the others have had because they are just like normal friends to me! Thanks.

Question: What age were you at every level?
Answer: lvl. 4and 5- age 9 (i think) level 6 i was 10, level 7 i was 11, level 8 i was 12, level nine i was 12, and level 10 i was 13, now international elite and I'm 14!

Question: When did you start training at WOGA?
Answer: I started at WOGA in Januray of 2002.

Question: What gym were you at before you moved to WOGA?
Answer: Dallas Gymnastics Center

Question: Who is your best friend in the gym?
Answer: I have too many awesome friends to say one is my best! I like them all just the same and they are all my best friends!

Question: What new skills are you training?
Answer: right now I am just getting back from my elbow injury, but I am trainng a punch front layout punch two and a half on floor, because it doesnt invile your arms. Also, I am learning a one arm backhandspring on beam.

Question: Do you go to public school?
Answer: I go to a private shool, that's 2m blocks from the gym. I got from 12:30 to 3 or 3:30 which works with my gym schedule

Question: Do you train with Valeri or Evgeny?
Answer: Valeri and Nataliya Marakova

Question: Which gymnasts do you work out with?
Answer: Well my traning group is Nastia Liukin, Megan Dowlen, Haiya Rodriguez, and Devin Ave. We also train in a group with Andrea Orris, Katie Matusik, Katie Withers, Samantha Engle, and Maxi Ephron. Occasionally we'll be on the same event as the other elites, so sometimes we train with them too.

Question: What are your goals in gymnastics?
Answer: My goal are to compete in a world championships or some other international competitions for the USA.

Question: Do you have any siblings? How old are they?
Answer: I don't have any siblings!
