Hey everyone!

I'm so sorry I haven't written in so long! There has been so much going on in my life, it's like a big blur. Well, my competition season is over. By far I didn't have my best meet at Classics and I didn't qualify to Championships. I was very disappointed, but I have moved on and I am having fun learning some new skills and trying new things. I was also disappointed for Christine who fell on bars during warm-up and couldn't finish the meet. She ended up having two bone chips in her elbow, but she is recovering well! I had a lot of fun in Virginia Beach! We had some time to go to the beach and relax. My dad and I also rented bikes down on the beach and that was so much fun! I hadn't ridden a bike in so long. Congratulations to my girl Nastia! Also, congratulations to Rebecca, Christa and Catherine who all qualified to Championships! I know they will do great up in Indiana. In the gym I'm working on some new skills. On tumbling I am doing front layout double front and arabian double pikes. On bars I am trying to learn a "Voronin" which is kind of like a "Khorkina". It's a lot of fun. It's so exciting to learn new skills!

School starts tomorrow! It seems like I just finished. I took one class over the summer, Economics. I can't believe I am going to be a junior! I am getting so old. Time to start thinking about colleges...I have some in mind, but only time will tell. This year I am taking 4 AP classes and I am the president of the student council again. So, I should have my plate pretty full. I am taking Spanish 4 (AP), English (AP), Chemistry (AP), Pre-Calculus, and U.S. History (AP). Each of my binders is a little memorial to many of the things I love. One has the Mavs on it, one has Lance, one has "Friends" (the TV show), and one has pictures from the movie "The Godfather". I haven't decided what the 5th one is going to be yet. Our school is growing too! We now have three buildings and 182 students.

Ok yeeeeah...LANCE ARMSTRONG IS THE MAN! 7 Tour de France wins! I can't believe he is done with cycling! I am going to miss watching him climb up those mountains and kick everyone else's butts! My room is pretty much a shrine to him now. It's got pictures, posters, magazine covers, newspaper clippings, everything! I should take a picture to show you guys. Haha. I am however, looking forward to next year's Tour to see who can take over the crown. I have my money on Ivan Basso or Yaroslav Popovych. You can mark my words on that. So, since the last time I wrote the basketball season ended. I can't say that my Mavericks lived up to my expectations, but it was better than their first round ousting of the previous year. Stevie Nash just ate our lunch in that second round. (I guess he wanted to show us what we're missing). I was happy that San Antonio won, for some reason I don't like the Pistons. Don't ask why. I miss basketball and I can't wait for it to start up again.

I have been doing A LOT of reading over the summer! My favorites were Lance Armstrong's War, Donnie Brasco, Caddy For Life, and The Notebook. Currently I am reading The Valachi Papers. It's so interesting and I am really liking it. Oh, I turned 17! I haven't had my birthday party yet, but I am looking forward to it. I am going to share it with one of my best friends, Andrea. Her birthday was in May but she hasn't had her party yet. I got a digital camera for my birthday! I was so happy! I have been wanting one for so long. I love it, I pretty much take pictures wherever I go.

Well, I think that's about it. I will really try to update more often. One last thing: Good luck at Championships to... Cole, Tim, Philip, Nastia, Catherine, Christa, and Rebecca! Ya'll will do awesome!

Talk to you guys later!

Hey!

I am soooooooooo sorry I haven't written in so long! I have been so busy! Geez, almost three months! Well, since last time I wrote I officially re-qualified for international elite! I am now a senior, which seems weird. The meet was at WOGA which was so much fun. All my *aWeSoMe* friends were there cheering for me. My parents were there too, and everyone was cheering for me and it helped so much. During my floor routine and on vault they were screaming so loud! It was so much fun. I got a new floor routine! I am very excited about it. It is much more mature and I feel like I can dance and show off better in it. I wanted a floor routine that I could really perform to, and I feel like I can do that with this routine. I have also started doing arabian double pikes on the floor. Hopefully, it will be consistent and competition ready by either Classics or Championships. I would love to compete that! I have also added a toe-on toe-off 360 to my bar routine. All in all, training is going very well. I think I am going to be attending the May camp instead of competing at the Hall of Fame meet up in Oklahoma.

I want to say congratulations to all of my girls who competed at State and Regionals! Especially congratulations to Katie M, Hannah, Courtney L., Candice K., Taylor, Erica, Becca, Paris, Abby, Megan, Brooke, and everybody else! Sorry, everyone just did so great I can't remember everyone who made it! Also, congrats to Nastia who was amazing over in Europe! So, school is going well. Actually we only have 3 or 4 weeks left. The prom is next Friday night, and I am really excited about that. Since I am the president of the student council almost everything has been up to me! It has been very stressful, but I made it through! I am sure you will be seeing pictures of prom soon.

Uh, oh yeah! The Mavs! We are in the playoffs and facing off against the Rockets in round one! I am so excited and nervous. I think it will be a fun series to watch and I anticipate some close games. At first, I didn't think Don Nelson stepping down was a good idea AT ALL! Now, I realize that it was the perfect time. Avery is just the kick in the butt that we needed to get going. Also, The Lakers didn't make the playoffs! Only the 2nd time since 1979, I guess Kobe can't run the team by himself like he thought, huh? I feel bad for Kevin Garnett though, I think he deserves to be in the playoffs but he doesn't have enough of a supporting cast around him. I also feel bad for LeBron James and the Cavs. They worked really hard this year and lost it on the last day. I can't believe Lance is retiring after this tour either! I am gonna be so upset. I think he can take one more so he can go out on the highest note. I really hope he does. Now that my mini broadcast of Sportscenter is over I will let you go! Hopefully I got everyone caught up on my life. I am really going to make an effort to write more often. Talk to you later!

Hey Everyone!

About a month since a journal entry...I am getting a little better! I hope everyone had a Happy New Year, I can't believe it's already 2005! I had a fun New Year just hanging out with my friends and family and having fun ringing in the New Year. On New Year's Day we went bowling. It was so much fun, I hadn't done that in so long! Anyways, the season is officially underway! I am very excited about this year. The WOGA Classic was up first. It was not the greatest meet ever for me but I had fun. My beam falls (3-yeah I know how is that possible right?!) got me down, but I am going to work hard to try to fix my mistakes. I ended up placing 2nd on vault (9.1) and 3rd on bars (8.5). The week before the meet I had two Russian girls staying with me. They were here to compete obviously, LOL. They were so nice and I hope they come back next year. I think our recent trip to Russia helped us understand them more. They spoke hardly any English so communicating was hard at times but we always found a way. The last day they were here I took them shopping and they loved it! I hope they had fun while they were here and I am looking forward to seeing them next year. I also want to congratulate Nast on her win. She was amazing and I know she is going to have a fantastic year. Luv ya babe Ü The next weekend I competed at the Metroplex Challenge. I had a little bit better meet except for beam, I need to find a way to get myself to stay on that dang thing! At the Metroplex Challenge I competed yurchenko 1 1/2 for the first time and I made it! I was really excited about that and I hope I can consistently compete it well. I ended up placing 2nd on vault (9.05), 1st on bars (8.75), 2nd on floor (8.45), and 3rd All-around. I am going to work really hard in the gym and try to get all of my routines ready for my testing next month! Outside of the gym, school is going good. I actually just finished up a huge biology project today which was a great relief! Also, I am now the president of our school's student council! Our original president stepped down and I was vice-president so I was elected the new president! It's a lot of work but I am looking forward to the new experience. Well, that's about it for now. I will write again soon.
