There has been so much going on in my life, it's like a big blur. Well, my competition season is over. By far I didn't have my best meet at Classics and I didn't qualify to Championships. I was very disappointed, but I have moved on and I am having fun learning some new skills and trying new things. I was also disappointed for Christine who fell on bars during warm-up and couldn't finish the meet. She ended up having two bone chips in her elbow, but she is recovering well! I had a lot of fun in Virginia Beach! We had some time to go to the beach and relax. My dad and I also rented bikes down on the beach and that was so much fun! I hadn't ridden a bike in so long. Congratulations to my girl Nastia! Also, congratulations to Rebecca, Christa and Catherine who all qualified to Championships! I know they will do great up in Indiana. In the gym I'm working on some new skills. On tumbling I am doing front layout double front and arabian double pikes. On bars I am trying to learn a "Voronin" which is kind of like a "Khorkina". It's a lot of fun. It's so exciting to learn new skills!

School starts tomorrow! It seems like I just finished. I took one class over the summer, Economics. I can't believe I am going to be a junior! I am getting so old. Time to start thinking about colleges...I have some in mind, but only time will tell. This year I am taking 4 AP classes and I am the president of the student council again. So, I should have my plate pretty full. I am taking Spanish 4 (AP), English (AP), Chemistry (AP), Pre-Calculus, and U.S. History (AP). Each of my binders is a little memorial to many of the things I love. One has the Mavs on it, one has Lance, one has "Friends" (the TV show), and one has pictures from the movie "The Godfather". I haven't decided what the 5th one is going to be yet. Our school is growing too! We now have three buildings and 182 students.

Ok yeeeeah...LANCE ARMSTRONG IS THE MAN! 7 Tour de France wins! I can't believe he is done with cycling! I am going to miss watching him climb up those mountains and kick everyone else's butts! My room is pretty much a shrine to him now. It's got pictures, posters, magazine covers, newspaper clippings, everything! I should take a picture to show you guys. Haha. I am however, looking forward to next year's Tour to see who can take over the crown. I have my money on Ivan Basso or Yaroslav Popovych. You can mark my words on that. So, since the last time I wrote the basketball season ended. I can't say that my Mavericks lived up to my expectations, but it was better than their first round ousting of the previous year. Stevie Nash just ate our lunch in that second round. (I guess he wanted to show us what we're missing). I was happy that San Antonio won, for some reason I don't like the Pistons. Don't ask why. I miss basketball and I can't wait for it to start up again.

I have been doing A LOT of reading over the summer! My favorites were Lance Armstrong's War, Donnie Brasco, Caddy For Life, and The Notebook. Currently I am reading The Valachi Papers. It's so interesting and I am really liking it. Oh, I turned 17! I haven't had my birthday party yet, but I am looking forward to it. I am going to share it with one of my best friends, Andrea. Her birthday was in May but she hasn't had her party yet. I got a digital camera for my birthday! I was so happy! I have been wanting one for so long. I love it, I pretty much take pictures wherever I go.

Well, I think that's about it. I will really try to update more often. One last thing: Good luck at Championships to... Cole, Tim, Philip, Nastia, Catherine, Christa, and Rebecca! Ya'll will do awesome!

Talk to you guys later!

Hey!

I am soooooooooo sorry I haven't written in...

Hey!

I am soooooooooo sorry I haven't written in so long! I have been so busy! Geez, almost three months! Well, since last time I wrote I officially re-qualified for international elite! I am now a senior, which seems weird. The meet was at WOGA which was so much fun. All my *aWeSoMe* friends were there cheering for me. My parents were there too, and everyone was cheering for me and it helped so much. During my floor routine and on vault they were screaming so loud! It was so much fun. I got a new floor routine! I am very excited about it. It is much more mature and I feel like I can dance and show off better in it. I wanted a floor routine that I could really perform to, and I feel like I can do that with this routine. I have also started doing arabian double pikes on the floor. Hopefully, it will be consistent and competition ready by either Classics or Championships. I would love to compete that! I have also added a toe-on toe-off 360 to my bar routine. All in all, training is going very well. I think I am going to be attending the May camp instead of competing at the Hall of Fame meet up in Oklahoma.

I want to say congratulations to all of my girls who competed at State and Regionals! Especially congratulations to Katie M, Hannah, Courtney L., Candice K., Taylor, Erica, Becca, Paris, Abby, Megan, Brooke, and everybody else! Sorry, everyone just did so great I can't remember everyone who made it! Also, congrats to Nastia who was amazing over in Europe! So, school is going well. Actually we only have 3 or 4 weeks left. The prom is next Friday night, and I am really excited about that. Since I am the president of the student council almost everything has been up to me! It has been very stressful, but I made it through! I am sure you will be seeing pictures of prom soon.

Uh, oh yeah! The Mavs! We are in the playoffs and facing off against the Rockets in round one! I am so excited and nervous. I think it will be a fun series to watch and I anticipate some close games. At first, I didn't think Don Nelson stepping down was a good idea AT ALL! Now, I realize that it was the perfect time. Avery is just the kick in the butt that we needed to get going. Also, The Lakers didn't make the playoffs! Only the 2nd time since 1979, I guess Kobe can't run the team by himself like he thought, huh? I feel bad for Kevin Garnett though, I think he deserves to be in the playoffs but he doesn't have enough of a supporting cast around him. I also feel bad for LeBron James and the Cavs. They worked really hard this year and lost it on the last day. I can't believe Lance is retiring after this tour either! I am gonna be so upset. I think he can take one more so he can go out on the highest note. I really hope he does. Now that my mini broadcast of Sportscenter is over I will let you go! Hopefully I got everyone caught up on my life. I am really going to make an effort to write more often. Talk to you later!

Hey Everyone!

About a month since a journal entr...

Hey Everyone!

About a month since a journal entry...I am getting a little better! I hope everyone had a Happy New Year, I can't believe it's already 2005! I had a fun New Year just hanging out with my friends and family and having fun ringing in the New Year. On New Year's Day we went bowling. It was so much fun, I hadn't done that in so long! Anyways, the season is officially underway! I am very excited about this year. The WOGA Classic was up first. It was not the greatest meet ever for me but I had fun. My beam falls (3-yeah I know how is that possible right?!) got me down, but I am going to work hard to try to fix my mistakes. I ended up placing 2nd on vault (9.1) and 3rd on bars (8.5). The week before the meet I had two Russian girls staying with me. They were here to compete obviously, LOL. They were so nice and I hope they come back next year. I think our recent trip to Russia helped us understand them more. They spoke hardly any English so communicating was hard at times but we always found a way. The last day they were here I took them shopping and they loved it! I hope they had fun while they were here and I am looking forward to seeing them next year. I also want to congratulate Nast on her win. She was amazing and I know she is going to have a fantastic year. Luv ya babe Ü The next weekend I competed at the Metroplex Challenge. I had a little bit better meet except for beam, I need to find a way to get myself to stay on that dang thing! At the Metroplex Challenge I competed yurchenko 1 1/2 for the first time and I made it! I was really excited about that and I hope I can consistently compete it well. I ended up placing 2nd on vault (9.05), 1st on bars (8.75), 2nd on floor (8.45), and 3rd All-around. I am going to work really hard in the gym and try to get all of my routines ready for my testing next month! Outside of the gym, school is going good. I actually just finished up a huge biology project today which was a great relief! Also, I am now the president of our school's student council! Our original president stepped down and I was vice-president so I was elected the new president! It's a lot of work but I am looking forward to the new experience. Well, that's about it for now. I will write again soon.

Hey Everyone!

Wow, long time no talk huh? So sor...

Hey Everyone!

Wow, long time no talk huh? So sorry about the lack of updates! First of all, I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! Gym is going great, and I am looking forward to the new season which is approaching rapidly! I just got back from the Voronin Cup in Moscow, Russia. Nicole Dory, Stephanie Turner, Kailey Tissue, and Catherine Nguyen competed also. We all did good. The equipment was just hard to get used to since it was all of our first time competing internationally. The floor was the hardest for me, (I fell twice). In Europe the floors are made of foam instead of springs! I ended up getting 16th in the all-around. I thought that was pretty good since I competed with Elena Zamolodchikova and Anna Pavlova! I thought it was so cool that I got to compete with them. Everyone made an event final except Stephanie who was 2nd alternate on two events (beam and vault). Kailey made beam, I made bars, Catherine made floor, and Nikki made beam. So, the competition part was great! It was quite an experience getting to go to Russia. Another hard part about the trip was jet-lag! When we got there, they lost one of Valeri's bags so we had to wait forever in the airport. I was so tired that I fell asleep standing up and leaning over on a suitcase. I have never had that much trouble keeping my eyes open like when we got there. It's a 9 hour time difference than Dallas. Eventually we got used to it though. It was not as cold as we thought it was going to be. I mean, it was cold but if you had a big coat and some gloves or a scarf you were good to go. We had a hard time occasionally though because everything everywhere was written in Russian. So, we didn't know where to go or anything. Luckily our coaches are Russian so they could help us out a lot. On Saturday before we left we got to go sight seeing and that was awesome. We saw Red Square, St. Basil's, and the Kremlin. Then that night Valeri asked us if we wanted to go to the mall. Of course, we said yes! So we got to ride on the Russian subway and it was amazing. It's so fast and efficient. You never have to wait more than 90 seconds for a train. The mall was huge! It had three rows with three levels. Being around Christmas it was busy. We also met some really nice Canadians. Nathan Gafuik and his coach Peter. They were the only other people in the meet who spoke English so we kind of tried to stick together Ü. took lots of pictures so you will get to see them! Anyway...Earlier on in December Christine Nguyen and I got to go to Pennsylvania for a GK Photo Shoot. It was a lot of fun. We had to take so many pictures. We had to model 20 leotards with three poses in each one and five pictures for each pose. It was so much fun though and you should be seeing the magazine in May or June, I think. The weekend after that was the Valeri Liukin Invitational and that's always a lot of fun. All of the foreign guys come in and it's so fun to watch them. Finally, after my extremely busy December came Christmas! I just had a nice relaxing Christmas at home with my family. All of the college girls and guy, haha, came in for the holidays and it was so nice to see all of them. They are missed around the gym. At the end of November I was inducted into the National Honor Society at school. To get in you have to have good grades, good citizenship, and do community service. I was honored to have been selected. In the gym I have just been working hard on routines and getting ready for the upcoming WOGA Classic. Everyone is looking good and we are excited about the competition season. I will really really try to write again soon. Just bare with me and my busy schedule! Hey Guys!

Well...once again I apologize for my t...

Hey Guys!

Well...once again I apologize for my time between journal entries. A lot has happened since last time I wrote! Gym is going good, I am just doing routines and getting ready for the competition season. It's closer than you think! In December a group of us are going to a competition in Moscow, Russia. I am really excited because it will be my first out of the country meet. It is going to be freezing cold in Russia in December though...so, I better get me some WARM clothes! We will be coming back just a few days before Christmas. So I am really excited about that. In October I went to the National Team Training Camp down in New Waverly. It was really fun because there were 6 of us from WOGA went. We all stayed in one room with Cortni Beers from Krafft Academy. She is so sweet! We had a lot of fun and everyone did pretty well at the camp. It was a big camp, I think like 25 people! I got to see lots of my friends that I had not seen since '04 Championships like Alicia, Lou, Sharky, Tia, Fee, and lots of others, so I was happy about that. There were lots of people there who it was their first time to go to camp. After we came back we had Nastia's birthday! She turned 15. She had her birthday party at her house and everyone dressed up in their Halloween costumes. I think everyone had fun and there will be pictures up from that soon! Earlier in the month Evgeny's daughter, Sabrina, had her 16th birthday party. It was so fun there were only about 10 girls and we got to ride around in a Hummer limo! It was the biggest one in Texas. First it took us to eat, then we went to Stonebriar Mall, and then we went all the way downtown and just rode around! It was so awesome when we got out of the limo at the mall because everyone was just staring. Haha. It was a lot of fun. Last but not least...I am so sad that the Yankees lost :( I have been a Yankees fan since I was little. Hey, there's always next year! Well, I guess that's about all for this time. Thanks!

Hey everyone!

Sorry it's been soooooo long. I ha...

Hey everyone!

Sorry it's been soooooo long. I have been really busy! First off...CONGRATULATIONS TO CARLY!! Yeah Olympic Champion! It was so exciting for the whole gym. That day we all didn't want to know the results because we were all going to the restaurant, Austin Avenue, to watch it. But that didn't last long because Sergei, one of the guys coaches at our gym, screamed it out to the whole gym. It was fun that way too though, Everyone was running around calling people that they knew and telling them. After workout that night we still went to Austin Avenue to watch it. It was really fun we were all screaming every time she came on the TV. During the awards ceremony a lot of us cried because we were just so happy that she did it. When Carly came back a whole huge group of people went to meet her at the airport. We really didn't get to see her that much because she had to give a press conference and there was so much security. We got to say a quick hello and they she left. There have been lots of activities for Carly including a party at the Plano Center with lots of fun and then we finally got to really see Carly! She's just the same old Carly. The city of Allen also had a parade for her with thousands of people there. Most of us WOGA kids got to ride in one of the three WOGA floats in the parade, so that was fun. Anyways...I got my drivers license! It is so awesome having my own car, I can go pick up one of my friends and we can just go to the movies! Like, I went and picked up Andrea the other night and we went to go see Cellular (which by the way is really good) with Steph, Tim, and Bart. It was so fun. Ok, moving on...With all of this going on, I started school! It's harder this year, but I like it and there are around 160 kids at our school now. Ummm, WOGA had their 10th Anniversary party. It was really nice, and everyone had a lot of fun celebrating 10 years of gymnastics. Lindsey gave a really nice speech, which everyone thoroughly enjoyed. In the gym I've just been putting routines together. I learned my yurchenko double full. It just kinda came out of nowhere! Valeri said try double and I just did it right away. It was really exciting. On bars I have gone back to doing shaposhnikova instead of Hindorff. I think I will save Hindorff for next year. I've been doing routines on bars and they are going well. On beam I now do switch leap back tuck instead of switch leap wolf full. I put my wolf full after my front flip. On floor, I have been doing double arabians as my first pass, front layout double full as my second pass, and double pike as my last pass. So everything is coming together, I hope I will be healthy for next year! I will really try to write again soon!

I had a good birthday, I didn't really do anything exciting because it was on a weekday. That's ok though, I enjoyed a relaxing afternoon at home after workout. That day I hit my mouth on the bar on a hindorff however, but I was ok. I just busted up the inside of my lip and my braces went a little bit through my bottom lip. But besides that, my birthday day was awesome! I got a really cool Lance Armstrong book and diamond earrings. A few days later I got a car! I get my mom's Jeep Grand Cherokee! My mom got my dad's Lexus and he got my godmother's Lexus! I was so excited. It's a bit of a hassle right now though because we only have a 2 car garage. I think we are going to build an extra car port thing so that all of the cars have a place. Let's see... Oh yeah! LANCE ARMSTRONG ROCKS MY WORLD! He won the Tour de France by 6:19. I am so incredibly happy! In this year's Tour Lance was so much more dominant than last year's. Last year he battled sickness, crashes, dehydration, and had to take a dramatic detour ;). If you keep up with the Tour you will know what that means. This year Lance won 5 stages including the two individual time trials and the team time trial. Lance dominated the field with the help of his USPS Team. I was upset that Tyler Hamilton had to pull out though, I really like him. I watched part if not all of each stage on OLN. (I'm lucky we get that channel). I'm glad the Tour is over, I can breathe easier now. I can hardly imagine what Lance feels like Ü. The "LIVESTRONG" yellow bracelets that benefit the Lance Armstrong Foundation are a growing fashion style I have noticed. I was the first to buy one from the gym, and I must say I started a trend! I got everyone into Lance fever. Haha anyways...School starts soon (August 9). It should be a fun year. And last but certainly not least...CONGRATULATIONS TO CARLY, SHE'S GOING TO THE OLYMPICS!! We are all so proud of her. We are also proud of Hollie, even though she just missed making the team. We all still love her and support her. Well, that's all for now!

Well, a lot has been going on. First off, my girls Hollie and Carly are leaving in a day or two for the selection camp down at Karloyi's. I want to wish them the best of luck and I know they will do great! Last weekend the Global Basketball Games were being held in Dallas. Donnie Nelson, the assistant coach of the Mavericks, called up WOGA and asked if some of the gymnasts could perform at the half-time of the gold medal game! It was kind of short notice so we had to get organized fast. We already had a dance to "America" by Neil Diamond that we had used at the TJ MAXX Tour of Champions, but I didn't participate in it. This time I was participating and I had to learn this 4 and a half minute dance...and FAST! The girls had forgotten a few parts, but luckily we had a tape to look at to refresh their memories. They had to teach me and about 6 other girls the dance, and we had to practice to get synchronized. We worked it out finally and we were ready to perform. It was held at SMU College down in Dallas. While we were waiting to go on Devin Harris, the newest Maverick, walks up to us. We are all freaking out and asking to shake his hands and stuff. He was extremely friendly, but then we had to go perform and he said he was going up to watch us. The performance went well, and we were excited we didn't forget everything in the middle Ü. After the dance me and Cera got to meet Marquis Daniels of the Mavericks. We even got a picture with him. We also bought Marquis Daniels jersey T-shirts! It was so exciting. Last week while training hindorffs, I fell on the bar on my ribs, but I didn't think anything of it. I was still sore and hurting about a week later so I decided to get things checked out just incase. It turns out I broke one of my ribs, but I can still train and do everything as normal. I just have to be careful. The doctor said "It looks like someone hit you with a baseball bat." And I was just kinda like well falling from about 2 or 3 feet up onto a wooden bar is kinda like getting hit with a baseball bat. So, everything is OK, I can't really do any further damage. I will just have to live with the pain for about 6 weeks. On Saturday night, me and a bunch of people got to go to the Jessica Simpson concert! We had lawn seats, but you could still see really well. She is such an awesome singer. It was even her birthday the day of the Concert (July 10), so the crowd got to sing Happy Birthday to her! Ryan Cabrera, Nick Lachey, and Ashlee Simpson were all also there and went up on stage. It was so fun. Well, that's about all for now...WOW that was another long one! I'm just full of information : p. I'll write again soon!

Hey everyone!

Another long to do list of things ...

Hey everyone!

Another long to do list of things to talk about! First, I want to say congratulations to everyone who competed at Trials. Everybody did awesome especially my girls Carly and Hollie! They did so great! I want to wish them the best of luck at the upcoming selection camp, I know they will do awesome! Secondly, I have been training hindorffs on bars for next year and double arabians on the floor. It's really exciting learning new skills. We just had our competitive summer camp and there were lots of girls from all over the country and it was a blast! Hopefully they will come back next year to see us again! Now onto non-gymnastics related things. First...I AM VERY UPSET THAT THE MAVERICKS LOST STEVE NASH! He was the heart and soul of the Mavs and I don't know what we are gonna do without him. I will miss him terribly and Dirk and Fin won't be the same without Nash at their sides. Another bad thing about this is that now we have NO chance of getting Shaq! We are not going to trade Dirk because LA won't trade Shaq without getting Dirk and Shaq only wants to play with Dirk. So, this is really a no win situation, that sucks! But enough about that it's just bringing me down... Another thing I am really excited about is the Tour de France. I'm, like, the BIGGEST Lance Armstrong fan ever! He's one of my role models and he's just so awesome! He better win his sixth in a row! I'll be cheering for him all the way. My 16th birthday is in 11 days! I'm gonna have a big party at my house and it will be fun! My summer has been going good we went to Hurricane Harbor at the end of the camp with our whole gym and the camp kids. It was sooooooo fun and I got a tad sunburned, but it was so worth it! We went on all the rides, and I even did the bungee swinging thing! My house still has some traces of toilet paper in the trees from a couple of weekends ago. The guys got me good! Anyways...I'll try and write again soon!

Hey everyone!

Well there's a lot to talk about! ...

Hey everyone!

Well there's a lot to talk about! First our WOGA Banquet was really fun...although it was really sad. Our annual video that someone makes every year had a special section at the end for our six graduating seniors. At the end of it the whole place was just bawling like babies. All of us girls makeup was all over our faces...I mean mascara and eye-liner running everywhere! They had a bunch of pictures of them from when they were little up until now with songs like "The Graduation Song" and "I Will Remember You". Wow...it was tough. It kinda just hit me then that they were all leaving and I won't get to see them everyday! So I'm gonna make the most of the time until they leave! So, the weekend after that I left the following Thursday to go to Nashville to watch Championships! It was soooooo much fun! I had so much fu hanging out with everyone and watching all of the competitions. All of our guys made the Junior National Team, and Carly and Nastia are national champs...WoOp WoOp! I had a lot of fun walking around Nashville on Friday with Megan, Kaitlin, and Lindsey. We all decided that we could not see ourselves living in Nashville...just too country for us! *Ü* But we had fun being country for a few days. On Saturday night we went to the banquet and had lots of fun, it was at this place called The Wildhorse Saloon. I stayed up until about three hours until I had to be downstairs the next morning to catch my shuttle to the airport...so Sunday was filled with lots of naps. But I had TONS of fun so it was worth it! Another exciting thing, I have a good chance of being on that show called "Switched" on ABC Family. I sent in my video tape and applications because they wanted someone from WOGA to be on it so I applied! My friend Hannah also applied. I think it would be so awesome to switch lives with someone for like, 4 days! Ummm...oh yeah! I started planning my 16th Birthday party! It should be lots of fun! I'm gonna have a lot of people hehe! So it's less than a month away...hopefully I'll get a car *WiNk WiNk* <----Mom and Dad! Haha! My last non-gymnastics thing is I just want to say....WHAT DOES THE LAS ANGELES LAKERS THINK OF THE DETROIT PISTONS NOW? I'm going for the Pistons big time, because I just flat out do not like the Lakers! All they gotta do is win one more game...C'mon Guys! I believe in ya'll! Ok onto gymnastics. I'm still working new skills but my newest accomplishment is learning a double arabian on floor and it's pretty consistent so I'm excited about that. Well, that's about all I got I'll write again soon!

Well, since the last time I wrote I finished school! Yay! I'm so excited. I'm now a sophomore. I finished my IOWA tests in two days so I was done a day early! Our school dance was really really fun! It was at a Double Tree Hotel in Dallas on the 21st floor! It was so cool there were windows all around so we could see out. We just danced the night away and had lots of fun. I got elected as our student council's vice-president for next year. Our president is Wes Adherhold! So that should be fun. Last Saturday our school had it's graduation ceremony which included three WOGA gymnasts: Nikki Childs, Chris Harper, and Lindsey Vanden Eykel. It was really nice and Chris and Lindsey both gave awesome speeches! After the ceremony a bunch of us went over to the Harpers for a little party and that was great. I'm gonna miss everyone so much when they leave for college. Then on Sunday Andrea and I went to the Texas Rangers game. They played the Yankees, they lost but it was fun anyway. The guys sitting right next to us caught a foul ball. But the weird thing was that was our ticketed seat, we had one extra ticket and he happened to be sitting there so it should have been our ball! LOL! Oh well. We have started summer hours at the gym, 8-3. I like it so much better! We get done and get to go home and just lay out by the pool or just chill with my friends. I'm still working on a bunch of new skills for next year. This weekend is our WOGA Banquet which should be fun and I'll have pictures from that. Then the next weekend is Championships!! I'm going to watch. I'm so excited it's gonna be a lot of fun! I leave next Thursday and come back on Sunday. So good luck to all of my girls and guys competing! I'll write again probably after USA's and will have pictures from everything up soon!

Hey everyone!

Well...it hasn't been too long sin...

Hey everyone!

Well...it hasn't been too long since I wrote last! LOL! First off, I competed in the Hall of Fame Meet in Oklahoma City! I did ok, I only had about two weeks of full routines so I wasn't totally up to speed, but I did ok. I did some watered down routines just to keep me in competition shape. I ended up getting 9th All-around! I rode up and back with Megan Dowlen, her parents, and my parents so that was fun! Megan and I watched "FRIENDS" on the way back...we were crackin up the whole way! I was so sad on the last episode, I cried! I'm like the biggest "FRIENDS" fan in the world! So, I was really sad. Ok, back on gymnastics track! I am not competing at Classics this year, just because I didn't have a lot of time to prepare. I am hoping to go to Championships and watch my girls AND my guys compete! We had four guys qualify from our gym this year so that's really exciting! I hope I get to go watch. I'm starting to learn a bunch of new skills for next year, so that's fun! Ok, onto my non-gym life...I'm still driving a lot, I can drive all the way to the gym now (which is an accomplishment since I have to go on three different highways, and it takes about 30 minutes!). Everywhere we go it's "Can I drive?". Haha. This weekend I'm really excited because our school is having our spring formal! So, that's exciting and I get to go in a limo! Yay! School is going good I only have one more day of actual school and then two days of IOWA Testing! I'm almost a sophomore! At the end of our home-EC class I sewed a pillow all by myself, I was so proud! Anyway, I'll try and write again soon!

I have been tumbling on the tumble track and doing some basic tumbling on the rod floor. I am starting to do my beam skills again and I did tkachevs again! I am just now starting to do stalders and toe on toe offs on bars...those were the things that hurt the most. My legs are just really sore now, but my injury doesn't seem to hurt! I have to keep wearing my bone stimulator to help bone growth, but that's been working well! Next, me and my friend Andrea Orris got our driver's permits! I LOVE driving, it's so fun! I have to have my permit for six months before I can get my license so I won't get m permit until a little less than two months after my birthday. It's ok atleast I'll get it! And, Me, Katleyn, Andrea, Hannah, and Katie went to Katelyn's ranch out near Possum Kingdom Lake and we spent the night in their 3-Bedroom trailor. It was so much fun, pictures will be up from that soon! That's about all that is happening... I will try and write again soon!

Well, a lot has happened since Chr...

Hey everyone!

Well, a lot has happened since Christmas! First off, I hope everyone had a great holiday season and a happy new year! I did! I got a lot of cool stuff fro Christmas! My favorite thing was my Steve Nash Dallas Mavericks jersey. The Mavericks played on Christmas Day, and I wore my Mavs pajama pants, T-Shirt, Socks, and new jersey...and we beat Sacramento after being down by 18 points...wahoooo! I was decked out in my Mavs gear, and I decided that's why we won! haha ok moving on...I had a good New Year. I went to Katelyn Wilson's house and we had a party there with most of our team. It was really fun, and I loved ringing in the new year with the people that I love the most, my family and friends! I wasn't able to compete in the WOGA Classic due to injury. My hamstrings are pulling on my pelvis bone and it hurts really bad. It's like a stress fracture. I did the same thing in February in 2003 but only to my right side, now it's both. I am still laying off of any running, jumping, or piking, but hopefully I will get better soon. Another exciting thing that happened to me was that Nastia took me to a Mavericks game! It was Mavericks vs. Lakers, minus Shaq, Kobe, and Karl...but hey it was still fun to watch the mavs whoop anyone in that purple and gold jersey! haha. Well, I have to go now...I will write again soon!

I have been so extremely busy! Well, since I wrote last time a lot has happened! First, I went to the National Team Training Camp down at Bela's (even though I am not on the National Team). I went with Nina and Nastia. We were there over Halloween, so that kinda stunk, but we still had fun anyway. It was a long camp, but I learned a lot! I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving, I sure did! We only had gym from 9-11, so we got a little bit of a break. Then I came home to a house full of family! My grandma, 2 aunts, and uncle, and 3 cousins! Wow! We had a really fun time just hanging out, eatin some turkey, and then watchin the Cowboys lose =( But it was fun playing our own game of football at half-time! Nextly, I have been really busy trying to get everyone a gift for Christmas! I just went to the mall yesterday and got everyone's gifts! What a relief! I am almost done shopping! More news. I started taking a hip hop class at Knockout Fitness here in Dallas. Megan Dowlen, Nikki, and Hannah Deutsch already take a class there. Me, Katie, Andrea, Devin, Cera, Maxi, Katie B., Katelyn, and Meghan Blair all started a new class! It's really fun and I am looking forward to the class. Now onto the gym! I am learning a lot of new skills and I am putting routines together now. I will be posting my routines soon on the site. Well, I hope everyone has an excellent Holiday Season, and I will try to write again soon! Well, lots to talk about!! First ...

Hey everyone~

Well, lots to talk about!! First of all, I want to say congratulations to Carly, Hollie, and Team USA!! YAY!!!!! World Champions!! lol. Well, I am so proud of Carly and her 2nd place All-Around finish, and Hollie the new World Champion on bars! When they got back from California the whole gym had made posters for them, and they were all over the place, The first day they were back TV cameras were there the whole day. Carly and Hollie had to go live on like 6 or 7 newscasts and talk shows in one day! It was really exciting. Then the next night we had a big party at the gym for them. It was really fun, and the mayors even came! Hollie's mom even brought Hollie's handwritten number *419* from the competition! So we are all really proud of them. Ok secondly, I just had to get nine teeth pulled out! I look so funny! They were all baby teeth and they had to pull them out so that my permanent teeth can come in and I can get my braces soon. So hopefully my teeth will grow in fast, and I won't look like an old grandma with no teeth! Ü Then, about the gym...I'm learning a lot of new skills for next year to up my start values.(Since I have to go Senior next year, LOL) On bars right now I'm doing stalder 360 Tkachev, and I might try to put a Gienger after my Tkachev. I'm also, learning stalder blind healy, and I might try to learn a Khorkina! So those are mainly my new skills right now! Sorry I haven't written in a long time but I'll try to write again soon!

I had such a great time, it was so fun. The arena was fairly close to the hotel so we just walked there and back, there and back, lol. We walked a lot because of all of the training sessions and stuff. The meet went pretty well. I was happy because my coach, Valeri, was happy! I hit everything except for my stupid front flip on beam. I was so mad, but oh well, I think I had a pretty good first Championships! It was so fun being there with all of the girls and hanging out together! The banquet on Sunday was a lot of fun too. We danced, and danced, and danced! We came back on Monday and got the day off. Then back in the gym on Tuesday! I am already learning some new skills for next year! I am working on a Pak salto, and front and back stalders on bars. On beam, I am learning a standing arabian, roundoff double back dismount and I just put a straddle full on the high beam today! On floor I am working on front layout double front, triple twist, and a full in. My goal for next year is to have a yurchenko one and a half on vault too! Out of the gym, on Thursday night me and my friend Andrea Orris went to the Justin Timberlake-Christina Aguilera "Justified and Stripped" concert at American Airlines Center! We also met up with Nikki, and Megan Dowlen there. We had so much fun! It was my first concert to go to! Well, that should pretty much get you up to date! haha. I will try to write again soon!

My websmaster was having some computer problems, and I have been really busy! Well since last time I wrote, I have competed in the National Podium Meet in Virginia. It was so fun and my best meet of the year so far! I really liked competing on the podium at the competition! We also had fun watching Carly compete in and win the VISA American Cup! Everyone did awesome at the meet! Then it was time to get ready for the American Classic, but a week before the meet I was tumbling and felt something pop in my pelvic area. I couldn't run and barely walk after that, and I went to the doctor for an x-ray. I ended up having a stress fracture on my pelvic bone, so therefore couldn't compete at Classics. I still went to watch all of my teammates at the meet, and it was really fun! Everyone did a great job! During my six weeks of rest for my leg I did a lot of bars and things that didn't involve my leg. When I got back to training I worked really hard, and I found out 3 days before the Hall of Fame meet that I was going to compete! We worked out for about 2 hours on Saturday morning, then drove up to Oklahoma City, competed in the meet, and drove back that same night. What a long day!!! I did pretty good in the meet. I'm glad I competed there before US Classic, just to get a competition under my belt! So, that's about it for now, I'll write again soon!

Whew! What a relief. It was kind of weird becuase, I competed at my old gym! It was a fairly good meet. I fell once on floor and once on beam, which made my score really close to qualifying. I got a 33.50, which is the exact score you need, lol. But I qualified so, it's all good. My friends Jaqueline Shealy and Kailey Tissue competed with me, and they both qualified for national elite! Great Job Guys! The next thing on my schedule is the American Classic in Boston. I think it's like in the middle of March. So, that's where I'll be headed next. Well, hopefully I'll write again soon!

Well, I competed in the WOGA Classic 2 weekends ago (Jan 17-19), I did ok, far from my best. I had two falls on beam and two falls on floor both nights. I competed on Saturday night in the big elite session, it was so excited and fun! Awesome job everybody at WOGA Classic! Well, I just got bacl today from the Parkettes Invitational in Allentwon, Pennsylvania. I did much better at this meet than the WOGA Classic. I made almost everything except for one fall on beam, but I'm happy! I am also happy I could just compete I had a really bad flu the whole week before the meet, and had some trouble putting routines together, but I came through! Haha! I ended up 2nd in the All-Around behind Tia Orlando. All of my other teammates did awesome too! Great Job Guys! It was so cold in Pennsylvania, but it's almost as cold here. I am so happy! I can't straiten out all the way yet but its really really close. I might be able to start doing stuff on it in a week or two. We also got a new addition to our team as you guys might know! Haiya Rodriguez came to WOGA from Mesquite Gymnastics. It was exciting to get a new team member! She's really nice and I'm glad she's with us! Well, I have to go now. Well, WOGA now has 5 national team members! YAY!! I was so excited for everyone. Nikki, Nina, Carly, Hollie, and Nast all made it. AWESOME JOB GUYS!! Ya'll are all awesome! They are going to try to petition Lindsey and Kaitlin I think. I'm not sure about Lindsey, but I think Kaitlin. It was especially exciting to see Nina on TV! But I was sad that they didn't show her floor routine. And I'm also mad they didn't show ANY juniors! I had some of my friends from gym come over and watch them with me. It was fun we also swam in my pool, and spent the night at my house. Well, I gotta go. ttyl
